After this tour we will head for our next tour unusual and fascinating tour Les Catacombes

This Parisian ossuary, covering 11,000 m² of underground space is called the Catacombes in reference to the Catacombs of Rome. Six million bones from various Parisian cemeteries rest in the 1.7 km labyrinth of tunnels. The ossuary remained largely forgotten until it became a novelty-place for concerts and other private events in the early 19th century; The height of the passages is 1.8 m and the temperature is 14 degrees.
This specific walk is not recommended for those suffering from cardiac or respiratory failure, sensitive individuals and unaccompanied children.

Day 2

Street art and hidden places by bike

04/05/2019

Today we will go for a 4 hours street art tour by bike called the: Street Art Tour of Paris XIII

Paris is home to some of the most exciting street art in Europe & even in the world. Traditionally Paris 13, a “grey neighborhood”, is today in continuous transformation. It’s once characteristic ugly towers or streets without any charm are now highlighted thanks to street artists from around the world. In the vicinity of the national metro station, on the Rue Jeanne d'Arc and Boulevard Vincent Auriol, you can see more than a dozen mural paitings, frescoes. The American artist Shepard Fairey has created several of them, including one with the French motto: ‘Liberté, égalité, fraternité’. Just next to it is a mosaic several metres high, by French artist Invader, representing the TV drama series House. You only have to stroll around the area to come face to face with a masterpiece like the monumental mural titled Embrace and Fight depicting two men in 18th-century costume, created by Irish artist Conor Harrington. All this and much more to discover with Francois during this bike tour.
After spending time here, you´ll have the rest of the day off to go around. You will get a bike to get around with for the day, but you can also use your included transportation card for public means.

Francois can advise you places to go if you’re looking for reccomendations.

Dinner will be optional (not included in the price), but Francois will give you the option to go visit the fantastic Urban environmentally conscious restaurant, La RECyclerie, which is really a visit worth.
